It is used as the primary emulsifier in emulsion polymerization for vinyl and acrylics. It also functions well as a dispersant, detergent, emulsifier and wetting agent in many industrial, agricultural and houseold products. It is also used extensively in the industrial processing of metal and textiles. It is suitable for wool acouring and similar difficult operations.
