An excellent base for high temperature laundry soap and many other soft water cleaning compounds. A powerful emulsifier in many applications including texrile processing. Used as a lubricant base in metal stamping and paper coating formulations. Particularly effective when formulated with alkaline silicate, borate, phosphate, or carbonate builders.
