At Norman Fox, our commitment to sustainability is ingrained in every aspect of our operations. Through initiatives like Chemical Educational Foundation’s You Be the Chemist, we actively engage in raising awareness about environmental issues within our community. We prioritize waste management and resource conservation through comprehensive recycling efforts for cardboard, paper, and organic waste. Energy efficiency is a cornerstone of our practices, evident in our use of facility lighting with motion sensors and reconditioned drums and totes. Water conservation is paramount, and we employ dedicated equipment to minimize waste during cleaning processes. Environmental compliance is non-negotiable, and we have plans in place for pollution prevention and spill control.
This Earth Day, we are celebrating the sustainability efforts of our suppliers by planting 5 trees in recognition of their hard work towards sustainability, contributing to reforestation and underscoring our commitment to environmental restoration. Through these concerted efforts, we set a standard for environmental responsibility, driving towards a more sustainable future.
We have made a deliberate choice to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of five partners, recognizing the importance of sourcing from those deeply committed to sustainability. Norman Fox is planting five trees in dedication to these suppliers, symbolizing our appreciation and support for their environmental stewardship. These tree dedications not only contribute to reforestation efforts, but also assist in ongoing fire prevention initiatives, as facilitated through our collaboration with Tree People. While last year’s tree dedications honored our founding fathers, this year, we proudly redirect this gesture towards our suppliers, affirming our shared commitment to fostering a greener, more sustainable future.

The A- score places the Company at the leadership level, above the chemical industry average score of B. This marks the third consecutive year Nouryon has engaged with CDP.
